This course for Pilates Mat includes principles, history and philosophies of the late Joseph H. Pilates and over 50 exercises for the beginner to intermediate exerciser. Students learn how to perform, teach and correct Pilates foundation mat exercises. This 16 hour intensive course is designed as a fundamental course and sets the foundation to learn more through PIA Pilates courses. A practical and written exam will be administered during the workshop for those wishing to receive a teaching certificate.
This workshop is approved for ACE, physical therapists, massage therapists, nurse practitioners, pilates professionals and chiropractors.
